Expectation Therapy, by Art Costello
Description: Expectation Therapy is an innovative way of thinking that will transform how you communicate, perceive, and process expectations.
Your writing process
I write from my head and heart. Most of the time I let my head lead and my heart will soon follow in words.
To spread my message that through better awareness of one's expectations and their mastery, anything is possible.
Why do you write?
I write to install hope in all people of the world.
What was your inspiration for writing this book?
My childhood method of dealing with abandonment, isolation and my will to flourish in adverse conditions.
What authors have influenced you?
I am well read but really my heart and head lead me! I admire, Carson McCullers, Sylvia Plath, Ernest Hemingway, Carl Jung, Karen Horny Abe Maslow, Andy Andrews.
"“Diminished expectations are like a sword to the heart.” “Expectation” is far more than a word. It is more than simply imagining an outcome for someone else or yourself. It is more than an assumption or presumption. It is more than motivation. It is not wholly societally imposed. So what is expectation? Expectation is our basic root from which we grow. It provides our framework; it is a way of thinking, a way of life. It can limit you and affect the heights of your achievements and your dreams."- Art Costello, Expectation Therapy
